Paradigm announces inaugural conference

Support services provider Paradigm Partners has announced details of its inaugural conference for partner firms.
The two-day event is taking place in September at Hotel Don Carlos in Marbella, Spain.
The conference will feature presentations and seminars on subjects such as business generation and investment planning.
There will also be an in-depth review and discussion session on the retail distribution review, looking at how firms can prepare themselves to gain the most from the opportunities the review will present.
The two-day event opens with delegates arriving on 23 September for a black tie gala dinner, followed by the main conference on 24 September.
Paradigm's IFAs will get a special room rate of £113 or £122.
Paul Hogarth, chief executive of Paradigm Partners, said the conference would give Paradigm the opportunity to thank partner firms for their hard work.
He said: "Our decision to hold the conference overseas reflects the continued success of Paradigm and certainly bucks the trend given that most conferences have either been cancelled or are now only held in the UK.
Mr Hogarth said that in just two years the company has grown to comprise of 230 IFA partner firms with 940 individual IFAs.
When asked if advisers would want to splash out on flights and hotel accommodation in the current economic climate James Carter, proprietor of London-based IFA Independent James, said: "This may be a chance to escape and get away for a few days.
"Even though money is tight advisers are still looking for value for money, which this may provide."
