Mortgage Brain has announced the launch of a mortgage sourcing system.
The mortgage technology solutions provider said the system had been built using Microsoft technology and was the first and only sourcing system designed to be used both offline and online.
Mark Lofthouse, chief executive of Mortgage Brain, said he had consulted and worked with advisers, larger companies, appointed representatives networks and mortgage clubs to ensure their business requirements would be met by the system.
The system allows intermediaries to conduct around 80 per cent of the mortgage search and selection process from one screen, conduct multiple client-specific searches and generate personalised best buy tables.
Mr Lofthouse said: "It is set to take mortgage sourcing to the next level. It provides brokers with facilities and features not available anywhere else and its sourcing capabilities are far superior than those in any other system currently available.
"It has been purposefully designed to enable intermediaries to get the best mortgages available for their clients in the shortest possible time and its unique online and offline functionality also offers intermediaries enhanced flexibility and portability."
James Carter, proprietor of London-based IFA Independent James, said on paper the system sounded excellent.
He said: "The real proof will come when intermediaries use it after a year."
