Introduction

Welcome to the Independent James Quarterly Newsletter. We hope you’ll find it useful and informative.

In this issue we’re having a close look at the recent Budget and how it might affect you; and in our Market Update section, we have Budget 2009 comment from the Council of Mortgage Lenders and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. This Quarter I would like to introduce to you a few websites new to me that I have found to be extremely helpful in both work and personal life. There is a Tax Calculator, a list of Locals’ hot spots for your City Breaks and on the Health front, an excellent interactive map for plotting your walks to work!

I also like the fact that I comfortably broke 2 hours for the Reading Half Marathon! Congratulations to those of you who completed the full London Marathon at the weekend. Next year maybe…..

Before you ask, no, I’m not getting paid for this – maybe I should be!
